    Tell us where you work

    Set your search once: where you work or study, your budget and your household. The feed shows homes within reach.

    Save homes with dated checks

    Each card says what was checked and when. A home stays in the feed only while its vacancy was confirmed in the last 14 days.

    Unlock the ones you choose

    Unlock a home for its exact location and a checked contact. After you unlock, nobody listed may ask for a fee or deposit before you visit.

Our checks

Confirmed, not claimed.

A home appears only after its contact has been checked and a caretaker has confirmed it is vacant within the last 14 days.

How we check homes

    Contact

    The contact proves control of their phone or email, and agrees to be shown.

  2. 02

    Identity

    Their ID and a selfie are checked.

  3. 03

    Owner

    The owner confirms, through the owner's own channel, that this contact may arrange viewings.

  4. 04

    Vacancy

    A caretaker replies every week that the home is vacant. With no reply for 14 days, the home is hidden.

Checks reduce fraud but do not remove it. Apart from buying an unlock credit, do not pay anyone before you visit.

Alerts and Saved Listings

Your search keeps working between visits.

  • Alerts for new matches

    Turn on alerts and we'll tell you, in the app or by email, when a newly confirmed home matches your search. Every alert has a link to turn them off.

  • Saved homes keep their dates

    Saved Listings show each home's latest confirmation date, so you can see at a glance what is still current.

  • Unlocks that keep

    One unlock credit gives three unlocks. Unlocks you buy do not expire. An unlock is used only if the home is available and its contact is ready. If not, you keep it.

  • A check-in after you unlock

    If a home turns out to be already let, or its contact does not answer within 48 hours, the unlock can be credited back. Limits apply.

One unlock credit gives three unlocks. Unlocks you buy do not expire. A contact's number or email is shown only with that person's consent, and only after you unlock a home.

After you unlock, nobody listed on SpotRentt may ask for a fee or deposit before you visit. Report any request to us.

A rent record you own

Enter the M-Pesa code after you pay rent. Your landlord confirms it, and the month joins a rent record you own and can export.

A move when the lease ends

Ask for a move quote in the app when you give notice. You pay the mover directly. SpotRentt does not hold your money and does not guarantee the move.

Rent goes to your landlord's own paybill, till or bank account. SpotRentt never holds, routes or escrows rent.
